Educational Programs

  • Workshops and Seminars

    - These events serve as valuable platforms for educating farmers about organic farming and the potential risks associated with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). Our team of Experts share practical insights, addressing topics like soil health, pest management, and sustainable practices.
    - We also organize workshops to emphasize the advantages of organic farming, such as reduced chemical inputs, improved soil fertility, and healthier produce. Participants learn about organic certification processes and how to transition from conventional to organic methods.
    -By way of Workshops and Seminars, Farmers gain awareness of the potential environmental and health risks linked to GMO crops. This includes concerns about cross-pollination, herbicide resistance, and unintended effects on non-target organisms.

    We prioritize the distribution of well-designed educational materials to farmers. These materials can take various forms:
    - Brochures and Pamphlets: Informative brochures highlight the benefits of using organic seeds and sustainable farming techniques. We distribute these materials at workshops, community centers, and agricultural fairs.
    - Online Resources: We provide farmers with highly resourced online materials via Websites, blogs, vlogs and social media platforms regarding tried and tested organic farming practices. Farmers can access articles, videos, and infographics that promote organic practices.
    - Seed Catalogs: These materials educate farmers about seed selection, planting methods, and crop rotation.

Technical Assistance

  • On-Site Consultations for Organic Farming Practices

    - Our team visit farmers' fields to provide personalized guidance on implementing organic farming techniques. These include advice on crop rotation, composting, and natural pest control.
    - We assess soil health, recommend suitable organic fertilizers, and help farmers transition away from chemical inputs.

  • Training Sessions for Sustainable Farming

    - Our training sessions cover various aspects of sustainable farming:
    - Soil Health:
    We discuss soil testing, soil amendments, and practices to improve soil structure and fertility during training sessions.

Seed Distribution

  • Supplying High-Quality Organic Seeds to Farmers at Subsidized Rates

    - Farm Right Foundation promotes organic farming, by way of providing farmers with high-quality organic seeds at reduced prices. These seeds are carefully selected, Non-GMO, and adapted to local conditions.
    - Subsidies help make these seeds more affordable for farmers, encouraging them to adopt organic practices and improve crop yields.

  • Establishing Community Seed Banks

    - Community seed banks play a crucial role in preserving biodiversity and ensuring a steady supply of seeds.
    How it works:
    - Local Farmers contribute seeds from their own harvests to our seed bank.
    - The seed bank stores and maintains these seeds under optimal conditions.
    - When needed, farmers can borrow seeds from the bank for planting.
    - After harvest, they return an equivalent amount of seeds to replenish the bank.
    Benefits
    - Diverse seed varieties are conserved, reducing dependence on a few commercial varieties.
    - Adapted local varieties are safeguarded against extinction.
    - Farmers have easy access to a wide range of seeds, even during emergencies or disasters.
